This position is located at the Vermont Air National Guard (VTANG) South Burlington, Vermont and will support the F-35 program.
This is primarily a 1st Shift position; but mission events may require 1st or 2nd shift work and/or a non-standard work schedule to support mission requirements that differ from their primary shift being hired for.
Some travel may be required. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance may be required, in the future.This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG) and will be responsible security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Full Mission Simulator (FMS) Facility.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
assist instructors, technicians, pilots and visitors using the facility; operate badging and access control systems; monitor the Intrusion Detection System; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all USAF, local security procedures and practices, DoDM Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self-inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquiries; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage for the facility, and additional duties as required/assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Current security clearance investigation or Continuous Evaluation (CE) date within 5 years of the investigation close date.
Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) Access.
Experience working program security in a Special Access Programs (SAP) environment.
Experience with DoD , Volumes 1-4.
Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) environment.
Experience working in a military environment.
Knowledge working with the F-35 program security environments.
Experience providing briefings and/or trainings.
Self-starter with outstanding communication skills.
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level:
Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
