Duties:

The duties include but are not limited the following bullets below:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining a large scale IT Infrastructure that consists of over 5000 nodes and networking devices.
  • Providing network services for the Clinical Research Information System (CRIS), and Altera Sunrise Clinical Management System (SCM) clientserver environments.
  • Researching, testing, and evaluating network requirements for projects and supporting Clinical Center healthcare initiatives.
  • Deploying network security technologies to enhance information systems security.
- troubleshooting networking issues that impact client-server environments.
- coordinating with vendors and internal and external Department of Clinical Research Informatics customers to resolve network problems.

  • Planning and implementing IT infrastructure upgrades, security upgrades, and policy changes.
  • Responding to Clinical Center Customer Requests for changes affecting CC/DCRI network infrastructure.

Additional information:


  • A oneyear probationary period may be required upon selection/placement.
