Feast & Fettle is seeking a well-trained
PRODUCTION BAKER to join kitchen operations for the overnight baking team at our production kitchen facility located in East Providence.

The Pastry team works a consistent Thursday-Monday overnight schedule (9pm-5am). Pastry and Baking Experience required.
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED YOU MUST HAVE MINIMAL 2 YEARS OF BAKING OR PASTRY EXPERIENCE. Cooking or line chef is not considered the experience we are looking for.

What does a Production Cook at F&F do?


Each day of the weekly production cycle, your Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef will work with your team to facilitate preparation of our menu items at the highest possible quality standard for home delivery to our members.


As a Production Baker, your responsibilities include but not limited to preparing and baking a variety of pastries, desserts and baked goods.

This role involves measuring and mixing ingredients, shaping dough, operating baking equipment and ensuring the quality and presentation of the final products.

Attention to detail, creativity, and knowledge of different pastry techniques are key for success in this role.


This work includes:

  • Following recipes and cooking dishes to company standards
  • A typical project could be anything from preparing Cookies, Herb Egg Bites, Dark Chocolate Brownies, Matcha pudding, Cran Orange muffins and a growing menu with items like loafs of bread, rolls and buns.
  • Recording weights of all finished recipes and seek approval of Executive Sous Chef
  • Tasting & ensuring quality of all projects from start to finish
  • Working closely with our Executive Chefs to ensure completion of every recipe
  • Working with your fellow Production Cooks to produce, set up and breakdown workstations
  • Following health and safety guidelines
  • Abiding by industry food safety standards including temping food and logging properly
  • Assisting with cleaning the kitchen at the end of each shift

  • Assisting with organizationwide demands of the weekly production cycle, including: labeling and packaging, proactively maintaining the F&F standard of cleanliness and organization of our equipment and storage across the facility, and helping coworkers across teams, with an allhandsondeck attitude reflective of our We Got You values.
  • Conducting yourself with maturity and respect in all interactions with fellow team members

What does a strong applicant for this position have?

  • A genuine love for preparing great food
  • 12+ years professional baking and pastry experience
  • Experience working in a full scaled bakery and/or food production preferred
  • In depth knowledge and skills of baking techniques
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Able to maintain rigorous high quality and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with or interest in learning about commercial kitchen equipment (combi ovens, blast chillers, flat tops, convection ovens, mixers)
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. Multiple times/day
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (8+ hours)
  • Desire to contribute positively to your coworkers and to the company
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively
  • Very strong work ethic and enthusiastic attitude
  • Tech savvy is a major plus We like to integrate tech into all aspects of the business

Consistent Weekly Schedule:

Thurs-Mon, overnight [9pm-5am]
