Overview:

What You Will Do:

The Personal Banker I role is a developmental role and is responsible for learning the processes to establishing, developing, and retaining deep financial relationships with members, to help meet and exceed member and credit union goals.
Assumes responsibility for performing a broad variety of Teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, sells cashier's checks with a high degree of accuracy in accordance with CU's policies and procedures, including robbery procedures.
Promotes, educates, and refers all credit union financial products and services to members in the community, based on their needs, as determined from member interviews.
Strong "People" skills, comfortable multitasking, ability to work independently AND as a member of a team, capable in a relationship focused sales environment.
Balance daily transactions and verify that cash totals are correct.
Accurately count cash, check and package coins and currency.
Responsible for completing and balancing each day's transactions and verifying all totals to computer generated balance sheet.
Perform other duties as deemed reasonable.

Requirements:

What We Are Looking For:

High School degree or equivalent
Track record of outstanding member service
Banking experience preferred
Cash handling experience a plus
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in cashiering and customer service

Pay Grade Info:

The base pay range for this position is:

$18 - $21 hourly.
