- Developing conceptual and detailed designs for Fluid Controls and Actuation Products.
- Creating highly engineered and complex products that meet internal and external requirements using top engineering practices.
- Offering technical support for legacy products.
- Ensuring work aligns with good engineering practices, leading to technically compliant and safe products that meet industry standards and directives.
- Assisting in technical writing, development, and execution of engineering documentation such as Test Procedures and Reports.
- Providing sales and commercial support across all product lifecycle stages.
- Contributing to business enhancement initiatives like Kaizen events and Root Cause and Corrective Action activities.
- Accountable for developing, analyzing, and testing designated products/projects.
- Supporting production product troubleshooting, drawing updates, and MRB activities.
- Making informed design decisions using scientific mathematical analysis.
- Offering training and educational materials for the engineering team.
- Mentoring team members and fostering team growth.
- Continuously enhancing technical expertise by reviewing publications, attending workshops, and engaging in technical training.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D Modeling/Assembly & 2D Drawing), MathCAD, and Simulink.
- Experience in Hydraulic and/or pneumatic product design and development.
- Familiarity with EPDM or other Product Data Management systems (preferred).
- Commitment to meeting or surpassing project deadlines.
- Strong skills in Technical Writing.
- Expertise in conducting tolerance stack-ups.
- Familiarity with DFMEA, VAVE, DFM, DVP;R, CM, and Risk assessment.
- Proficiency in GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
- Essential experience in Hydraulic/Pneumatic component/system sizing.
- Knowledge of basic stress and flow analysis tools.
- Experience in designing Hydraulic/Pneumatic test setups and fixtures.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-810; RTCA-DO-160 (preferred).
- Understanding of aerospace materials, manufacturing processes, post-processing, or Equivalent Engineering Software Tools.

Our customer operates globally in the Aerospace & Defense sector. They are highly specialized in creating products for aerospace and defense purposes and are currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer.
This role involves collaborating with fellow engineering colleagues, suppliers, and various departmental members (production, sales, quality, program management, etc.) in a Concurrent Engineering setting to devise feasible and cost-effective design solutions.
This position is hands-on, involving work in the test lab, design validation, prototype development, and product preparation tasks.
