Software Quality Assurance Analyst - Washington, United States - Ironclad Technology Services
Description
We are seeking a proactive Software Quality Assurance Analyst to support an enterprise readiness reporting platform used by the US Space Force
The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be a core member of a team supporting a DoD readiness project with over 75 data sources.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, evaluate, and update test scenarios, test plans, and test procedures as necessary.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand product specifics and create corresponding test strategies.
- Manage system integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing.
- Develop executable test procedures for interface testing, device testing, data migration testing, and other areas required by the project.
- Create project resource estimates, define metrics to track completion phase, defect reports, defect prevention, development efficiency, and quality.
- Write detailed test cases with expected results for various scenarios including positive and negative testing.
- Execute testing on both web frontend systems and backend database systems.
Here's what you need:
- 5+ years of developing test plans/cases, regression/exploratory testing and requirements/defect tracking software (Azure, JIRA, etc.)
- 5+ years of Web Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) & source control (GIT)
- 5+ years of experience using Agile software methodologies including core ceremonies (Scrum, Backlog, Planning, Review and Retrospective
- Advanced SQL skills (Draft/edit complex queries as a part of test cases)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and deadline driven environment.
- Personal drive and initiative
Bonus points if you have:
- Understanding of DoD contracts, knowledge of military operations and/or prior military service/experience.
- Automated Testing experience (e.g. Selenium, coded implementation).
Security Clearance:
- Must be eligible for SECRET clearance, with zero red flags.
Education:
- BS (CS or Engineering preferred) plus 6 years of experience OR 12 years combined education and direct experience.
