    Your knowledge of Commercial HVAC will be critical in working on a variety of installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.

    Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on heating and cooling units
    Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations
    Clean shop area
    Pull parts orders for technicians
    Pick up and deliver tools and parts to job sites
    Pick up parts at supply houses
    Assist office with deliveries and shipment orders
    Recognize and identify potential risks and hazards associated with performing all work-related duties safely
    Work to mitigate potential risks associated with essential duties
    Participate in a comprehensive OSHA-approved safety course (preferably OSHA 10- or 30-hour course) and adhere to company and regulatory compliance programs

    Machinery, Tools, Equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment required:
    Personal Protective Equipment as required according to company hazard assessments
    Medical surveillance participation (i.e. annual hearing tests, respiratory fit-testing/physicals, etc.) Service/Maintenance vehicles - may require DOT physicals per regulatory requirement

    2 years of relevant experience in HVAC or adjacent industry preferred
    ~ May be required to pass a satisfactory examination per local requirements
    ~ Principles and practices of Heating, Venting, Air Conditioning (HVAC) maintenance and repair; HVAC controls and safety devices; appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) / chemical usages; materials and refrigerant recovery equipment and procedures used in installing, repairing and maintaining HVAC systems
    Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
    Work at various changing work areas including elevated heights, on ladders/platforms
    Safely operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment
    Recognize safety hazards commonly found in HVAC operations, and identify and implement appropriate controls to ensure safe work
    Identify situations that require escalation or elevation to Supervisor or Manager for guidance or need to request additional support
