    Description

    Job Title: Machine Operator at Metal Sales

    Metal Sales is the nation's biggest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America. Our branch in Frederick, CO is looking for a dedicated Machine Operator to join our production team.

    This is a full-time position with great benefits and competitive pay starting at $23.00 an hour plus a 10% shift differential.

    You'll be working the 2nd shift from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am. Occasionally, you may need to work overtime, including weekends.

    As a key member of the production team, your main responsibility will be operating machinery to create high-quality metal roofing and wall panels.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Operating roll formers to produce metal panels
    • Inspecting panels visually to ensure quality
    • Installing and adjusting panel dies
    • Entering production data into the system
    • Operating forklifts and overhead cranes
    • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

    Requirements:

    • Experience in a manufacturing/production setting
    • Forklift operation skills
    • Ability to work independently and in a team
    • High school diploma or GED

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    • Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
    • Must be able to stand or walk approximately 7 1/2 hours per work shift
    • Must be able to handle temperature changes
    • Moderate to loud noise level
