    Are you passionate about healthcare and seeking a challenging and rewarding career? We are looking for a REMOTE CDI Specialist III to join our dynamic team.


    As a CDI Specialist III, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and quality of patient data.


    You will be responsible for the review and analysis of medical records, and you will work closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and coding professionals to ensure the correct documentation of patient conditions and treatments.


    Your work will contribute to the improvement of patient care, the optimization of clinical outcomes, and the maximization of reimbursement.

    Responsibilities: 1.


    Perform comprehensive reviews of patient medical records to identify and capture accurate representation of the severity of illness and risk of mortality.

    2.

    Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and coding professionals to ensure the accurate documentation of patient conditions and treatments.

    3.

    Provide education and training to physicians and other healthcare providers on the importance of complete and accurate documentation.

    4.

    Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.

    5.

    Analyze and interpret patient data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

    6.

    Participate in the development and implementation of CDI policies, procedures, and strategies.

    7.

    Work closely with the coding team to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to medical coding.

    8.

    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

    Qualifications: 1.

    Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field.

    2.

    Registered Nurse (RN) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) preferred.

    3.

    Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in medical, surgical, trauma, surgery, or Emergency Department.

    4.

    Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

    5.

    Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding.

    6.

    Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    7.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of professionals.

    8.

    Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

    9.

    Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare IT systems.

    10.

    Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
