_GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT_
_
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
_
- Participates in the daytoday conduct of multiple ongoing clinical trials in accordance with the individual protocols.
- Assists in scheduling and conducting study visits within the Men's health Clinical Research Unit, the Exercise Physiology and Physical Performance Lab, and other institutional research locations.
- Assists in recruiting and evaluating potential study participants thru review of electronic medical records and research patient databases. Per protocol instruction, conducts telephone interviews and schedule participants for screening and study visits.
- Assist in preparing and documenting Case Report Forms (CRF's) for participant study visits.
- Upon completion of study visits, inputs data into the respective electronic research database (RedCap, SOCAR, etc.).
- Collect vital signs, anthropometric data, perform EKGs, administer and score psychometric questionnaires.
- Helping to maintain compliance with BWH Institutional Review Board (IRB), including assisting in submission and organization of regulatory materials.
- Communicates effective clinical trial updates with various members of the research team.
_QUALIFICATIONS_
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required for working with our diverse and varied study participants.
- High degree of computer literacy skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to methodically record data
