Description

As a Dance Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching dance classes to students of various ages and skill levels.

You will create a positive and supportive learning environment where students can develop their dance skills and express themselves through movement.

• Develop and implement ageappropriate lesson plans for dance classes
• Teach various dance styles, such as pole, chair, and hip pop
• Provide instruction on proper dance techniques, terminology, and body alignment
• Demonstrate dance moves and combinations for students to follow
• Guide students in improving their flexibility, coordination, and strength
• Choreograph dance routines for performances or competitions
• Conduct rehearsals to ensure students are prepared for performances
• Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skills
• Maintain a safe and organized dance studio environment

• Previous experience teaching dance one on one, and group classes
• Strong knowledge of various dance styles and techniques
• Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate dance moves
• Patience and the ability to work with students of different skill levels
• Strong organizational skills to plan lessons and manage class schedules
• CPR certification (preferred)
