The Institute for Molecular Infection Biology at Julius-Maximilians-Universität is currently seeking a part-time employee (m/f/d) for cleaning and goods receiving in Telford, TN.

This position is temporary and will cover for an employee on sick leave, with a workload of 16-20 hours per week, spread over 4-5 days.

The Institute for Molecular Infection Biology (IMIB) is an interdisciplinary research institute of the Medical Faculty at the University of Würzburg, closely linked to the Center for Infection Research (ZINF) and the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI).

We are looking for reinforcement for our scientific support team in the areas of cleaning and goods receiving.

Your responsibilities

Cleaning and storage of laboratory equipment (beakers, cylinders, flasks, etc.)
Operation of technical equipment such as dishwashers, sterilizers, and autoclaves
If necessary, you will assist with mail and goods receiving or support the building maintenance team with auxiliary tasks

Your qualifications

You are responsible and reliable
You have a strong sense of hygiene and organization
You enjoy working in a team and, after a training period, are able to carry out your tasks independently
You have good knowledge of German and ideally basic knowledge of English
