Your tasks
- Development and testing of real-time software for CNC controls, particularly algorithms for path generation for complex movements on machine tools
- Software design, implementation, and maintenance of software modules for turning and milling technology, as well as creation of associated automated tests
- Creation of functional descriptions and design documents, as well as documentation of developed software
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in mathematics or engineering with a focus on mathematics
- Analytical thinking for understanding complex technical problems and their mathematical description
- Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design
- Professional use of C++, C, and related design methods
- Experience with source code management systems
- Experience with Unix/Linux, the GNU toolchain, and knowledge of scripting languages desirable
- Basic understanding of technological processes on machine tools and knowledge of various automation systems advantageous
- Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
