    Description

    Corporate Paralegal

    • Contract (3-4 months)
    • Remote - Must be located in Austin, TX
    • Pay: $31/hr
    • Hours: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM

    Job Description:

    • Prepare and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, corporate resolutions, and regulatory filings.
    • Assist in maintaining corporate governance practices, including board meetings, minutes, and compliance with corporate formalities.
    • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting our industry and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
    • Provide support for corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and financings, including due diligence, document management, and closing preparations.
    • Conduct legal research on a variety of topics, including corporate law, regulatory issues, and case law, and summarize findings for attorneys.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date corporate records, including corporate filings, contracts, and other legal documents.
    • Collaborate with attorneys, internal teams, and external stakeholders to support legal initiatives and projects.

    Requirements:

    • 1-2 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal or Legal Secretary
    • Licensed notary preferred
