DATEV software products are increasingly being realized as cloud solutions and supported by artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to best support our customers in their work and to realize comprehensive consulting services. As a governance and support unit, our teams in the technology and architecture department provide guidance and support to the DATEV development teams with attractive, modern, and cost-efficient technologies, methods, and tools, so that they can deliver sustainable and timely value. To expand our competence portfolio, we are looking for an architecture and infrastructure shaping key player with a focus on cloud-native/microservice systems in our company, who can help shape our products and ecosystem.

These are the tasks:

  • You support the cloud strategies and implement them within the DATEV organization
  • You develop and define architecture guidelines to help colleagues and teams in development
  • You create cloud software architectures and designs using design prototypes and incremental implementation
  • You proactively communicate your experiences and insights in software architecture communities and welcome feedback from discussions
  • You actively apply the DevOps paradigm and always strive for continuous improvement of architecture and software quality
  • You support the evaluation of innovative technologies and shape the technology portfolio together with technology management
  • You conduct reviews of software architectures based on quality scenarios, interviews, and analyses
