    Job Description

    This company is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that. We were founded to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements.

    We are seeking a dynamic Software Developer to join its IT Department. The Software Developer will be joining a highly qualified team of professionals that work together to produce, service and support the technology and programming needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have expert level skills and experience in JavaScript based web development with restful web services in a test-driven development environment.

    Interview Information

    1. HR Screening Interview (approximately 30 minutes)
    2. sent a coding activity. Candidates will have two days to complete the activity, but we recommend that they spend 1-3 hours on the activity.
    3. IT team will review the coding activity and if it's acceptable a final 1-1.5hr Teams interview will be scheduled to discuss the coding and be more conversational

    Benefits

    We offer Health and Vision insurance. We pay 100% of the employee premium and 75% of dependent coverage based on our standard plan which has a $500 deductible.

    We offer Life insurance a 2 1/2X your annual salary at no charge to the employee. This includes a $5,000 spouse and a $1,000 child plan as well
    We offer Long and Short term disability at no cost to the employee
    We have a retirement plan and do a 4% contribution match – employees are eligible to participate after 4 months. We also have a ABR discretionary contribution of 6% that employees receive after 1 year of employment
    We have a PTO plan that starts with 21 days of PTO which employees begin accruing on their 1st full pay period.
    We have the 7 standard holidays
    In addition to the holidays we give employees either the 4 working days off before Christmas or the 4 working days after Christmas as additional time off.
