Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, process engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Duties:
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity
Design and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production
Create CAD models and schematics for process design and documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
Utilize quantum engineering principles to analyze data and drive process improvements
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve process issues
Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes
Train production personnel on new processes and equipment
Monitor process performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
Proficiency in CAD software for designing tooling and fixtures
Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma)
Experience with CAM programming for machining operations is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
