    About the Role: We are seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Examiner for our offices in Roseville or Long Beach, CA.

    Primary Purpose:

    • Analyze and manage California workers' compensation claims.
    • Ensure timely and accurate claims resolution.
    • Negotiate settlements and manage claims within authority limits.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims.
    • Negotiate settlements and manage reserves.
    • Prepare necessary state filings and manage the litigation process.
    • Coordinate vendor referrals and cost containment strategies.
    • Communicate claim activity with clients and maintain professional relationships.

    Additional Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Perform assigned duties and support quality programs.
    • Travel as needed.

    Qualifications:

    Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant professional certification is a plus.

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years in California Workers Compensation claims management.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Expertise in insurance principles and laws.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical abilities.
