Requirements of Custodian/Janitor:


  • High attention to detail required
  • Strong work ethic required
  • No prior experience required.
  • Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift 25 pounds.
  • Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, floor scrubbers, etc. )
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials.
  • Valid Drivers License preferred

MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK & Fingerprinting (Misdemeanor & Felony free)**:

  • Custodians/Janitors have daily exposure to cleaning solutions.
West Michigan Janitorial provides industry-leading janitorial service to businesses in West Michigan. We employ over 400 Custodians and Janitors for positions cleaning in commercial & school environments.

We are looking for a couple of Custodians/Janitors to serve accounts in Grand Haven, MI


Responsibilities of the Custodian/Janitor:

  • Clean and restock restrooms.
  • Empty Trash receptacles
  • Dust office equipment
  • Wipe down hard surfaces
  • Vacuum, sweep, mop floors
  • Clean interior windows/ doors
**please note: This position does require a fair amount of flexibility in scheduling since the needs change daily. Custodians can count on 30+ hrs per week.


Benefits

Compensation for Custodian/Janitor position:

$16.50/per hour
