Our established company in the field of orthopedic technology is offering an apprenticeship position as an orthopedic technician (m/f/d) in Sergeant Bluff starting in September 2024.
This apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to learn a valuable trade in order to help people improve their quality of life and make a significant contribution to the health and well-being of others.

Your responsibilities:

  • Learning the craftsmanship skills for manufacturing and fitting orthopedic aids such as prosthetics and orthotics
  • Assisting and advising our customers on the proper use of various aids to find individual solutions for their needs
  • Assisting with repairs and maintenance
  • Operating specialized machinery and tools
  • Making plaster casts

Your profile:

  • Completed secondary school education or higher (ideally with good knowledge in mathematics, physics, and crafts/technology)
  • Manual dexterity
  • Reliability, attention to detail, and precise work
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Interest in medical contexts and working with people
