Description

Responsibilities:

Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information
Upsell and crosssell products to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing the customer's experience
Process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns
Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries, providing information about products, prices, and availabilities all in a timely manner
Keep uptodate with product knowledge, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information to the customers
Listen to customer's needs and preferences, offering product recommendations and solutions
Maintain proficiency in using computers and other office equipment and software
Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate store operations are being completed on a daily basis
Contribute to achieving sales targets/goals given by the branch manager

Requirements:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
2 + years of customers service and sales experience preferred
Knowledge of HAVC/building supplies preferred
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Proficiency with computers and different software systems required
Knowledgeability in navigating the internet/websites to find product/information for customers
