- Provide professional services including financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, and agreed-upon procedures.
- Apply understanding of broad business & technical (US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) & GAAS) knowledge.
- Prepare written recommendations to client management to improve reporting processes and business management.
- Assist in identifying process issues and developing solutions.
- Identify internal control weaknesses and communicate such weaknesses to management via management letter comments.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of complex accounting/ auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
- Identify key internal controls to determine the nature, extent, and timing of audit procedures.
- Generate financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, including footnote disclosures.
- Manage engagement economics and coordinate the timing and logistics of client engagements
- Interact directly with Partners on all matters related to client and engagement management
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key personnel and assess clients' satisfaction.
- Responsible for supervision and review of staff performance.
- Foster efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment.
- Supervise and train staff members during engagements.
- Schedule audit personnel for assignments throughout the year.
- Develop and deliver firm continuing education programs.
- Develop new business for audit practice.
- 5-10 years audit experience in public accounting
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Experience in PCAOB/SEC is required
- Preferably proficiency in multiple industries, including construction, real estate, distribution, retail, professional services, leasing, hospitality, healthcare, publishing, and not-for-profit
- Industry experience in real estate, retail, professional services, auto dealers, software and technology, and other commercial clients is a plus
