    Description

    Summary:

    Responsible for all aspects of the quality assurance program which includes the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan and the Quality Control Plan.*Please Note: This position is contingent upon a contract award.

    We will not be actively responding to applicants until there is a need to move forward with this position.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    (including but not limited to)Development and execution of the facility quality assurance program to meet ACA, PBNDS and supervises other compliance requirementsOversight of Compliance Officers.
    Provides technical guidance and interpretation of compliance standards such as ACA, PBNDS and facility policies and procedures.
    Conducting random inspections with the Compliance Officers to ensure effective inspection techniques are being utilized.
    Reviewing daily inspection reports to identify discrepancies or concernsWorks closely with the ICE compliance team on a daily basis.

    Prepares written reports, corrective action plans, develops inspection schedules and staff schedulesRecommends corrective actions on findings and best practices to enhance performance, improve operational efficiencies and ensuring delivery of quality service to the customer in accordance with contract and standards requirements.

    Ensures the facility is in a ready state for any annual or formal compliance inspections.
    Provide assistance to third party inspectors/auditors conducting facility annual or formal inspections.
    Responsible for developing, organizing and managing compliance data information, documents, files and any other instruments utilized for compliance purposes.
    Ensure compliance with ACA regarding update of required folders.


    Other Duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:
    High School Diploma or equivalent3-5 years' experience with program development and oversight of compliance programs.
    Significant education/training experience will be considered in lieu of above.

    Proficient skills with computers/software, including Microsoft office suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPointMaintain membership in ACA.To obtain and maintain a favorable determination from a US government background screening.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    Ideal candidate will have actual ICE detention experience or corrections compliance/quality assurance officer experience.
    Proficiency in Spanish Language.
    Associates degree in associated fields.
    SupervisionThis position is responsible for supervising the Compliance Team Officers.

    Work is performed in an office environment, may be subject to temperature and noise level changes.
    Works in an office environment; however, work areas may include all areas of the secured facility. Overall demands of this position are moderate.

    Physical Demands (including but not limited to):
    May be required to bend and stoop frequently and occasionally kneel or crouch.
    Often climbs stairs and works with arms above the shoulder.
    May often be required to move heavy equipment.
    Required to lift 50 lbs or less frequently and often lifts 50-65 lbs.
    May often be required to grip, squeeze and repetitively use fine hand movements.

    Work Schedule:
