The AWO Social Services gGmbH, a subsidiary of AWO Kreisverband Karlsruhe-Land e.
V., serves as a holding company for five other organizations. The majority of the facilities within the company are focused on children and youth services.

This includes over 30 locations in the Karlsruhe district, such as kindergartens, youth centers, after-school programs, and school social work.

The Social Services also includes the social department store "Schatzgrube" with locations in Bruchsal and Untergrombach.


Job Description:


The AWO Social Services gGmbH is seeking a social pedagogue (m/f/d) for the
Villa Federbach youth center in Malsch, starting on April 1, 2023, for 20 hours per week (part-time hours are also possible).

The position is currently limited until June 30, 2026.


Responsibilities include:

  • Participation in daily activities (open meetings, creative workshops, events, holiday programs)
  • Conceptual support, development, and coordination of existing open children and youth work
  • Collaborative work with authorities, agencies, schools, and other partners
  • Responsible for carrying out representative tasks

Requirements:


  • Identification with the AWO mission statement
  • Completed degree in social pedagogy/social work or a comparable (social) pedagogical education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Creative and solutionoriented approach
