Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in our client's finance department, responsible for a variety of accounting duties including preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheets, maintaining lease records, preparing reports, and assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly journal entries for multiple entities accurately and in a timely manner.
Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Maintain leases in the database and reconcile accounts related to lease transactions.
Generate various financial reports as needed by management.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes as necessary.
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting procedures and enhance efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Analytical ability and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
