Job DescriptionOn-site Staffing Services is seeking 1 full-time and 2 part-time Solar Panel Installer to join their team out in the Waukesha, WI area to services throughout the following city:
Big Bend, Brookfield, Chenequa, Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Elm Grove, Genesee Depot, Hartland, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, Merton, Mukwonago, Muskego, Nashotah, New Berlin, North Lake, North Prairie, Oconomowoc Lake, Okauchee, Okauchee Lake, Pewaukee, Sussex, Wales, Waukesha, and Illinois.
As a Solar Panel Installer, you must be a hard worker ready to help with the installation of solar systems. You will spend 70 – 90 % of your day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions. The most important feature of a good solar installer is being someone willing to learn, and motivated. Someone wanting to make a difference while providing world-class customer service skills.
We are looking for hard-working, ambitious individuals with a strong work ethic.
Essential Duties:
· Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
· Support the crew to ensure the successful completion of the solar system installation.
· Document completion of quality installation.
· Compliance with OSHA standards. (Company with pay for OSHA 10 hours training.)
Key Competencies:
· Must be able to consistently carry up to 35 pounds plus.
· Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs.)
· Able to work outdoors for extended amounts of time.
· Must have a reliable means of transportation to the Waukesha (Company provide work truck(s) for business use.)
· Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean MVR pass 2 years, no speeding, DUI, or any accident.
· Prior solar installation experience preferred but not required.
· Willing to train a hard-working individual with some knowledge of construction and power tools.
· Good communication skills.
1st shift Monday through Saturday 8 am – 5 pm. Busy days 7 am – 7 pm.
$20 - $35/hr. depending on experience
