We are seeking Carpenter Assistants:

We are looking for driven individuals to join our team and are eager to _work_ and learn while representing themselves at Lehmann Construction & Design, LLC.

Applicants must possess good communication skills, mechanical skills, and the ability to _work_ individually or in a team.

Know how to use basic hand tools such as hammers, saws, nails, tape measures and screwdrivers; must have your own set of basic tools.

A clean driving record and reliable transportation is a must. _Work_ is completed Monday through Friday, on rare occasion weekends. Carpenter Assistants are considered subcontractors and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. We perform a simple background check on all those that _apply_. Rate of pay ranges _from_ $16 to $18 per hour.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning _work_ areas and equipment
• They also clean _work_ areas, machines, or equipment, to maintain a clean and safe job site
• Fasten timbers or lumber with glue, screws, pegs, or nails and install hardware
• Perform tie spacing layout and measure, mark, drill or cut
• Select tools, equipment, or materials _from_ storage and transport items to _work_ site
• Drill holes in timbers or lumber
• Cut timbers, lumber, or paneling to specified dimensions
• Position and hold timbers, lumber, or paneling in place for fastening or cutting
