    Overview:

    The On-Call Bartender plays a crucial role in delivering top-notch service to guests and maintaining impeccable cleanliness and sanitation standards at Highgate Hotels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain a friendly and welcoming attitude consistently.
    • Ensure exceptional service to guests, managers, and colleagues at all times.
    • Set up the bar per hotel standards and Banquet Event Orders for efficient service.
    • Prepare and serve beverages and cocktails according to prescribed standards.
    • Attend to guests' beverage needs professionally and courteously.
    • Properly close the bar post-events, following storage protocols.
    • Adhere to state liquor laws and hotel policies.
    • Stay informed about hotel services and comply with safety regulations.
    • Handle alcohol service responsibly to prevent issues with intoxicated guests.
    • Address and resolve guest concerns, complaints, and incidents.
    • Know fire exit and extinguisher locations and operation.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in bar and service areas during operations.
    • Ensure overall guest satisfaction throughout the service.

    Qualifications:

    Education & Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent; previous hotel or related field experience is a plus.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Availability for flexible and extended hours when needed.
    • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently, with prolonged standing required.
