Description

First Texas Honda requires a Service Cashier dedicated to enhancing the customer experience. The Service Cashier processes monetary and credit card transactions and completes and closes repair orders for the dealership's customers.

The Service Cashier is sometimes the last contact with the customer at the end of their service visit and greatly impacts the customer's overall satisfaction.

This role requires a confident and engaging individual with an eye for detail and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience and automotive repair knowledge are a plus but not a must. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Prepare finished paperwork for customers
Receive payments in cash, credit, and check format
Follow up with Service Advisors to ensure payment is received
Assist with other organizational tasks
Follow up with accounting for internal auditing purposes
Walking customers to their vehicles and completing the final delivery
Assisting in scheduling courtesy transportation
Assisting valet staff on the drive when needed

Qualifications:

Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
Punctuality in reporting to work
Adaptive to change
Strong work ethic
Strong organizational skills
Great verbal and written communication skills
Computer literate
Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year

Hours:

This is a fulltime position requiring 40 hours per week

Requires availability Monday

Saturday

Compensation:

- $20 - $24 per hour based on experience
