Summary:

The Finance Clerk will be responsible for following Accounting and Financial principles, assisting the Finance Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Biweekly Payroll processing, including, but not limited to, proper payments for Federal, State, and 403(b) contributions;
  • Accounts Payable including, but not limited to, proper payment processing including Ledger entries, checks, as well as understanding the proper funding sources and their limits for usage as directed by DARS;
  • Accounts Receivable including, but not limited to, daily bank deposits, bank reconciliation, Vendor lookup, and Auditing of files for payments;
  • Understanding of AMR procedures and how the proper information drives the monthly funding of PSR;
  • Reports and Files strict confidentiality is required. Files must be up to date and maintained in accordance to Federal, State, and Company mandates;
  • Supports needs of various programs within the agency as needed.
  • Conduct initial assessments of clients' homes to identify repair and maintenance needs.
  • Evaluate the urgency and priority of each client's request.
  • Gather necessary information and documentation to facilitate the repair process.
  • Collaborate closely with contractors and subcontractors to coordinate repair jobs.
  • Communicate project details, timelines, and client expectations to contractors.
  • Ensure that contractors adhere to quality standards and deadlines.
  • Schedule and conduct onsite visits to clients' homes to monitor the progress of repair and maintenance projects.
  • Address any concerns or issues that may arise during the course of the project.
  • Provide updates to clients on the status of their jobs and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of client assessments, job requests, and project progress.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED Required; Bachelor Degree Highly Preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
  • Familiarity with home repair and maintenance is desirable.
  • Valid Driver's License

JOB CLASSIFICATION
This position is Full-Time and is non-exempt as defined in the Personnel Policy and Procedure Manual; Section 2.-

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Occasional travel may be required.
