The job of an industrial mechanic in the field of plant engineering involves maintaining and repairing industrial facilities in workshops and factory halls.

These facilities include various technical industrial systems and machines such as large production systems, conveyor belts, turning and milling machines, as well as turbines and compressors.

All machines experience wear and tear during operation, and it is the responsibility of industrial mechanics to identify and fix any issues, such as replacing machine parts.

The requirements for this job include a high school diploma or equivalent, good mathematical skills, spatial thinking, and an interest in technology and science.
