Forklift Operator/warehouse Associate - Woodland, United States - Mitchell Industrial Tire Co.

Description

• Use forklifts/pallet jacks to load, unload and transport inventory within the facility.
• Verify quantity, size and product #'s of all incoming and outgoing orders/transfers.
• Locate and properly pull outbound orders, then palletize and stage for shipping.
• Verify product, properly wrap and/or secure and label all outbound shipments.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counting and general organization of facility.
• Conduct audits to identify and rectify discrepancies in inventory and system records.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient and proper operations.
• Keep forklifts and all other equipment in facility clean and organized at all times.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and properly wear all personal protective equipment.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment and ensure all areas are kept free of debris.
• Assist in other warehouse duties and activities as directed by the manager.

• Minimum of 2 years previous forklift operator experience in warehouse environment
• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in warehousing operations and procedures
• Competent literacy skills to read orders/labels without transposing product #'s
• Excellent attention to detail and great organizational skills
• Competent verbal and written communication skills
• Competent addition and subtraction math skills
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds
