What we're looking for:


The Quality Team is looking for someone to be an integral OleumTech team member responsible for measuring, monitoring, and reporting product quality results.

They will ensure that standards related to production, inspection, and testing processes and procedures are met. The QC/QA Manager will be crucial in maintaining and improving the company's reputation for delivering excellent products and services. Reports to the Director of Quality


What you'll provide
-
Knowledge

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Quality Management, or relevant field.
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
  • Six Sigma certified or has an excellent understanding of data analysis/statistical methods.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a QA/QC Manager or in a relevant role.
  • Extensive experience in a certified Quality Management System (i.e. ISO 9001).

Technical Skill

  • Good knowledge of MS Office and databases.
  • Communicate with tact and professionalism to resolve conflicts.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Passion - Sense of urgency and a self-starter with strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.


Role responsibilities:


  • Manage and enforce quality policies and procedures and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Manage root cause analysis investigations of nonconformances.
  • Report quality metrics to the management team and provide insight for strategic decisionmaking.
  • Implement Six Sigma methodologies for process improvements to reduce product defects and improve quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address and resolve findings.
  • Review inspection and test reports for compliance with established procedures.
  • Attend and actively participate in product development team meetings.
  • Actively participate in inspection and testing of products and incoming materials.
  • Coordinate audits and facility inspections between the company and external regulatory agencies.
