- Promover la seguridad como la prioridad número uno de todos los empleados de OMG.
- Configurar la máquina, observar la operación e inspeccionar la primera corrida y la muestra de la pieza de trabajo para asegurar que el mecanizado se ajuste a las especificaciones.
- Leer los planos o la orden de trabajo del producto y las especificaciones del trabajo como el tipo de alambre, dimensiones, tolerancias, cantidad de piezas a producir e instrucciones de utillaje.
- Seleccionar, instalar y ajustar las herramientas especificadas para cumplir con la hoja de producción y establecer las velocidades de conformado y velocidades de avance.
- Realizar lubricación rutinaria e inspecciones de mantenimiento preventivo según sea necesario.
- Observar todas las normas de seguridad.
- Realizar mantenimiento de rutina y preventivo de la máquina.
- Ayudar a otros operadores de máquinas a configurar la máquina, y apilar, marcar, empacar y transportar las piezas de trabajo terminadas.
- Mantener un área de trabajo ordenada y bien organizada.
- Realizar otras tareas asignadas.
- Diploma de secundaria o equivalente.
- Experiencia en forjado en frío, punzonado y/o roscado preferida.
- Capaz de utilizar herramientas estándar y dispositivos de medición como micrómetros, escalas, reglas, calibres de profundidad y calibres.
- Capacidad para interpretar instrucciones de seguridad, órdenes de trabajo, planos, especificaciones de calidad y otros documentos relacionados.
- Buenas habilidades de comunicación escrita y verbal.
- Sólidas habilidades matemáticas y de razonamiento mecánico.
- Capacidad de contribuir como parte de un equipo.

- La posición requiere la capacidad de estar de pie regularmente.
- La posición requiere una buena visión cercana y habilidades de percepción de profundidad.
- Capacidad de caminar, estar de pie, inclinarse, arrodillarse, agacharse, gatear, usar las manos para manejar o sentir objetos, herramientas o controles, alcanzar con las manos y los brazos, trepar o equilibrarse; y levantar/empujar/tirar regularmente hasta 50 libras.

OMG opera actualmente en dos divisiones: OMG Roofing Products y FastenMaster. OMG Roofing Products es un importante fabricante y proveedor global de componentes de valor añadido para la industria del techado comercial.
