The Inpatient Float Pharmacist role at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center involves overseeing medication management operations, clinical services, and other assigned tasks on a full-time basis. This position entails 10-hour shifts on rotating days/evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Pharm.D. or equivalent degree from a US-accredited school of pharmacy.
Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practical experience.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

Active pharmacist licensure in California.
BLS certification in C.P.R. and Code Blue Procedures.

Additional Expectations

Thorough understanding of medical terminology and common diseases.
Proficiency in applying pharmacological principles in clinical settings.
Strong communication and teaching skills.
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
Adaptability and ability to prioritize tasks.
Competency in pharmaceutical calculations and patient-centered care.
Proficiency in using computer systems for daily tasks.
Approval needed for exceptions.
