    Job Opportunity: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)

    Are you looking to join a team that truly cares for its patients with compassion? Liberty Hospice is currently seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide top-notch care in the Onslow & Surrounding Areas. If you have the experience and passion for hospice care, we want to hear from you!

    Job Description:

    • Apply a deep understanding of nursing theories and concepts.
    • Responsible for providing and documenting care to meet reimbursement guidelines.
    • Collaborate with the patient's family, physician, and Hospice team for comprehensive care.
    • Effective communication with patients, families, and agency personnel.
    • Participate in IDT meetings and quality reviews as scheduled.

    Job Requirements:

    • Active RN licensure in the state of practice with a nursing education background.
    • Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably with at least one year in hospice care.
    • Knowledge of home health and hospice care programs and the nurse's role in patient care.
    • Familiarity with nursing principles, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
    • Completion of 12 hours of continuing education annually, along with CPR certification.
    • Willingness to travel based on agency needs, including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts.
