Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3 years' experience working on commercial Interior Design projects.
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field.
Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
Some knowledge of building codes and accessibility guidelines. Ability to research codes in various jurisdictions.
Basic space planning skills, with focus on creating efficiencies while driving innovative planning.
Passionate about design and ability to think conceptually and realistically.

Entrepreneurial attitude - must be self-motivated and self-managed and have the ability to multi-task and contribute to several projects at a given time.

Listening and problem-solving skills.
Able to manage concurrent deadlines.
Seeks out and responds well to feedback and direction from others.
Ability to work both independently and within the fabric of a design team.
Team player.


Responsibilities:

Contribute to developing creative design concepts that can be successfully measured against creative brief.
Assist in production of test fits, construction documents and design presentations.
Communicate concepts and ideas to others through written, drawn and verbal means.
Interact regularly with Studio Lead and team members as needed for the completion of assigned projects.
Expected 10% travel to project sites as required.
