Under technical direction, this role is involved in driving the weekly deployment of form changes into our production systems.
This involves working closely with team members to manage the inventory of form changes, ensuring the right form numbers are mapped correctly in our deployment tools and properly testing forms in both test and production environments.
In addition, you may work closely with others on our team to capture requirements of form changes and assist with the configuration and development changes.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Ensures quality of solutions by performing code review with peers, creating documentation, implementing changes, verifying program logic, and completing testing. May perform defect root cause analysis as needed.
- In conjunction with operations area technical staff, supports the implementation of solutions into production and testing environments. May confer with technical personnel to identify and resolve issues.
- Plans and drives weekly form releases and coordinates deployment schedules with development team. Properly communicates deployment with endusers.
- Postdeployment, may work with business users on issue evaluation and resolution for any discovered defect.
- May assist with report generation as requested by management
Typically Manager or above
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively among all levels of internal/external business partners/clients.
- Advanced computer skills
- Strong MS Word and Excel skills
- Working knowledge of SQL, Guidewire, Documaker or SmartComm a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced dynamic workforce.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
