RoviSys engineers are well-versed in numerous control platforms and software packages, and provide end users and customers customized cutting-edge building and facility management solutions to fit their requirements.


Responsibilities:

  • Understands RoviSys project execution methodology
  • Stays uptodate with modern openintegration control platforms
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by building relationships with business partners
  • Builds business position by locating, developing, and defining business opportunities
  • Consistently researches industry and related events, publications, and announcements
  • Discovers and explores relevant business opportunities independently
  • Analyzes potential business by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
  • Capable of reading engineering drawings (Controls, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.), preferred
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations
  • Understands needs and goals of any project and customer
  • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements and delivering optimized proposals and scopes of work
  • Enhances organization's reputation by accepting ownership of sales cycle
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Attend relevant conferences, trade shows, and events
  • General Contractors
  • Controls A&E Firms
  • Mechanical Contractors
  • End Users/Customers

Qualifications:

Business Development Manager Qualifications / Skills:

  • Ability to learn and understand RoviSys project delivery strategy
  • Ability to identify customer needs and vet project opportunities
  • Engineering or automation background preferred
  • Ability to build a local network of partners that can drive repeatable business
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies, and customer relationship management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to providing great customer service
  • Desire to prepare controls and automation project estimating

Education and Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering field, preferred
  • 5+ years of sales & networking experience
