About Us: Established in 1975 by an act of the Virginia General Assembly, the Capital Region Airport Commission owns and operates Richmond International Airport (RIC). The Commission directs the growth, operation and business activities of RIC and works tirelessly to ensure it continues to be an affordable option for local, regional, and out-of-state travelers.
Internship Description
The company is seeking a motivated intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and technical skills in a real-world environment. This internship will rotate within the functional departments throughout the airport to shadow employees through their day-to-day activities to gain valuable experience to contribute to mission essential operations through data collection, research and assigned projects as it relates to the department's daily operation.
Open to: Undergraduate freshman, sophomores, juniors, or seniors and graduate students
Majors/fields: Business Management, Communication, Engineering, Marketing, Administration
When: 12-week program from mid-May or June
Must be able to work up to 26 hours per week, internship is on-site only
