The Academy for Medical Professions is currently seeking a Director of Nursing Education in Psychiatry (m/f/d) for our location in East New Market, MD.


  • The Academy for Medical Professions is the central training and education institution at the University Hospital Freiburg and with over 1,200 participants, one of the largest educational institutions for healthcare professions in Germany. The Continuing Education department offers a comprehensive range of nursing education programs.

Your responsibilities include:


  • Professional leadership of the nursing education program in psychiatry
  • Planning, development, and establishment of the education program
  • Designing professional and didactic teaching units
  • Designing practical training sessions
  • Conducting performance assessments and examinations
  • Networking between academic and practical education and contributing to their content and supervision
  • Ensuring quality in education within the framework of the Academy's quality management
  • Possible deployment in all departments of the Continuing Education department
