Job Responsibility

  • Performs senior functions relating to the Boiler operations and Plant Operations for various assignments throughout the facility.
  • Leads, guides, and coordinates Watch Engineers; trains staff; assess staff's talent and capabilities.
  • Assures workmanship and quality outcomes are always the goal.
  • Assigns work to department personnel and inspect assignment to ensure proper completion of assignment.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with other staff to ensure that departmental outcomes are achieved.
  • Assists management to stock shop materials and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Performs emergency repairs as needed communicates these repairs appropriately; assists to prepare boilers for periodic inspections.
  • Develops skills around utility usage and documentation required for various agencies.
  • Ensures all assignments and project and meet current code compliance.
  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.
Job Qualification

  • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 57 years of relevant experience, required.
