$16.00-$17/hour depending on experience. (Those with Mechanical experience need only apply)
Shift hours Monday through Friday 2:00-10:00 PM
PURPOSE:
Effective daily operation of a inserting equipment, Inkjet equipment and auxiliary equipment
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up and operation of insertion and ink jet equipment on a regular basis.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment as scheduled.
- Monitor and maintain accuracy/quality while operating equipment. Continually perform quality control checks on all production runs.
- Training of assistant machine operators as needed.
- Set up and operate related DC equipment effectively as needed (i.e strappers, stackers, fork truck, power jack, etc.).
- Operate your equipment safely at all times.
- Locate and stage product for insertion/distribution.
- Maintain a neat and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company and corporate policies and regulations.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Supervisory skills. Ability to direct an insertion crew effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. at a high level of repetition.
- Good mechanical skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good monitoring skills. Good follow through.
- Basic PC skills.
- Employee must be a team player with good interpersonal skills, communication skills, and demonstrated willingness to work with others.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Safe exposure to chemicals, ink and noise.
