Work Direction:

The Safety and Security Officer works under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Team Lead for Safety and Security Department who reports to the Executive Pastor.

Basic Function:

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for securing Church properties/facilities against vandalism and theft, by using up-to-date approaches for professional approach providing a safe environment for congregants and visitors.

The Safety and Security incumbent will interface with Church officers, members, guests, staff and all other persons who come to participate in the life of this Church and/or conduct business on the premises.

Work Schedule:

The Safety and Security Officer shall general work forty (40) hours each week in accordance with the schedule personally arranged, and mutually agreed to with the Manager, Security Services.

Working Conditions:
This position is susceptible to job hazards; so protective clothing must be worn at all times. Additionally, this position does require unusual or excessive physical exertion.
