Job summary
This position requires daily cleaning and supplying patient rooms wards nursing stations lounges lavatories bathrooms offices and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the department and in accordance with hospital objectives.Responsibilities
- Performs patient care cleaning employee office and work areas hard floor carpet cleaning trash removal equipment cleaning window wall washing.
- Responsible for isolation techniques related to Environmental Services overall patient care Knowledge safe use of cleaning products equipment.
- Assists team members duties discharges needed Completes daily project timesheet Environmental Services dismissal notice Completes all assigned tasks within assigned work period Understands oral written communications communicate supervisor Prepares infection wastes disposal terminal cleaning procedure include OR EVS Tech Changes water bucket procedure Cleans MRI suite procedure Cleans OPR rooms cases shift Receives goods delivered vendor truck UPS Federal Express etc Unpacks items counts weighs measures quantity incoming supplies notes discrepancies damaged goods completes receiving report Packs inventoried items deliver supplies appropriate department inventory stocks nursing supply carts Prepares packs outgoing packages UPS Federal Express common carrier Keeps receiving dock storeroom area clean orderly pallets Carries out special projects Materials Manager designee annual inventory redesign distribution process Maintain professional appearance designated by department head Cooperates personnel proper conduct department Rotates within department shift required Maintains ethical relationships Adheres hospital departmental rules regulations Participates in-service programs Performs all other related duties management.
