Tasks and Process

As a toolmaker, you are the specialist in our toolmaking department. You manufacture stamping and forming tools, as well as press and embossing molds. These are used for the production of metal parts, such as a buckle tongue for a seatbelt system. During your basic training in the apprentice workshop, you will work on your first project, which involves the complete production and assembly of a parallel vice. In the specialized department, you will learn about various manufacturing techniques and gain extensive knowledge about the repair and maintenance of progressive dies.
