    Description

    Registered Nurse Specialist at Florida Department of Health

    Your Role:

    • This is a statewide advertisement for multiple Registered Nurse Specialist positions within the Division of Children's Medical Services. You can choose your preferred work location within the qualifying questions.
    • Positions in various locations may be eligible for telework.

    If you are a Registered Nurse who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team environment, leading quality improvement initiatives, and driving services for children with special health care needs, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct assessments for potential MFC parents and children/youth in the MFC program.
    • Complete necessary documentation and home visits for evaluation purposes.
    • Ensure quality communication with stakeholders and provide support and training as needed.
    • Coordinate daily operations of the MFC Program.
    • Maintain and monitor data and Electronic Health Record entries for quality assurance.

    Requirements:

    • Active State of Florida nursing license or multi-state license from another Compact State
    • Valid Florida driver's license
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience
    • Foster Care and Case Management experience is beneficial

    Location:
