Williams Dedicated is looking for an eager and customer-service focused individual to add to our team in Michigan City, IN


Who we are:

Williams is a medium-size family owned and operated trucking company looking to add to our Dispatch Team.

The Dispatch Team Member will be an integral part of our ongoing effort to provide excellent customer service to our customers and to our drivers.

*Please note: this is an in-office position, not remote.


Pay range:
$17 - $20 depending on experience, plus shift differential

We currently have 3rd shift available: 9:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Tuesday - Friday

Responsibilities of a Dispatch Team Member:

• Monitor route statuses
• Communicate professionally and assist Drivers
• Communicate professionally with Customers
• Monitor Driver Sign-Out Sheet
• Monitor Break Downs
• Complete Payroll
• Complete Employee Monitoring Report's

2 years' experience as a dispatcher in a trucking/transportation environment preferred:

• Strong computer skills
• Able to handle highvolume phones in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to multitask
• Able to function and adapt to a fastpaced, changing office environment
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Ability to walk up and down stairs to checkout trailers
• Ability to withstand all types of weather conditions when going outside to checkout trailers
