QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent. English and liberal arts degrees are preferred.
- No previous experience is required as extensive training is provided.
POSITION GOALS & RESPONSIBILITIES
At MITC the Helpdesk provides remote troubleshooting, instruction, and software installation services to customers in both cloud hosted and customer hosted environments.
- Helpdesk works on an average of 34 service requests per day. Service requests are managed through an internal ticketing system.
- Day to day, problem solving and critical thinking are imperative to ensure a high quality of service is provided.
- Helpdesk team members work in pods of 35 team members where they can collaborate, troubleshoot, and work together as needed.
- Helpdesk assist customers with a variety of questions and needs to ensure they are utilizing their MITC software effectively.

- MITC supplies a laptop, mobile phone with hotspot, and any necessary equipment.
- Covid vaccination required for all MITC positions.
HYBRID WORKING
Even though MITC workforce is 90% remote, we still need to be thoughtful about where we have staff working. MITC embraced working-from-home before the pandemic. In office attendance is limited to monthly or annual team meetings and trainings. Frequency varies by team. For those employees who prefer an in-office environment, MITC operates an individual desk-sharing and meeting room plan. Each employee chooses their own schedule within these parameters.
Pay:
$45, $60,000.00 per year
