- Perform day to day transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Understand expense accounts and cost centers
- Understand compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
- Process outgoing payments in compliance with policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- At 2-3 years of AP experience
- Demonstrates a complete understanding of the AP cycle
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Energetic, positive attitude
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Hands -on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills; Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously, efficiently and effectively prioritize activities
- Evaluate existing processes; identify improvements and implement improved methods

Position Requirements
The AP Vendor Specialist II must be accustomed to working in a very fast paced team environment. The ideal candidate will be decisive, drive results through others, offer and receive, constructive criticism when appropriate. Additional attributes needed:
